Caritas Portugal is supporting the victims of the fires that struck Portugal by mobilizing dozens of volunteers that are acting on the field and also contributed with 20.000€ for immediate relief activities.

The President of Caritas Portugal, Mr. Eugénio Fonseca, has been in direct contact with the responsible members of the several Diocesan Caritas that are on the ground supporting the population and giving a tragic report on what they are witnessing.

To support the affected populations, Caritas Portugal has opened a bank account entitled “Cáritas ajuda vítimas de incêndios” for all who wish to contribute to this effort. PT50 0007 0000 00107639446 23
